Our innovation the JeTrix

The JeTrix is an inkjet printing technological breakthrough that allows page printing at a fraction of a second. The concept allows a major advance in the printing time, improved printing quality and reduction of the cost. Head size, as measured in number of nozzles, governs inkjet’s ultimate speed and quality as well as the nature of ink refill industry. The invention enables an implementation of a large inkjet print head, up to a size of a full page and more. While the state of the art print head nuzzles number is ~1000, our prototype print head has 56,000 nozzles.
The printing is static, meaning that the head is not moving during the printing; therefore the printing quality is improved as well. The innovation was tested experimentally and patented
 

The Market

The JeTrix innovation is embeddable in various printing products such as small photo printers, multi functional printers, deskJet’s printers, officejets printers, business inkjets printers, large format printers etc. The potential inkjet market segment of the hardware and ink products for 2007 is a US$14B and US$27B respectively (I.T. Strategies).
In addition this technology could strike the laser printers market share by demonstrating better performances regarding printing time quality and costs.
Finally, this technology could be used in the traditional “analog” printing field, where there is no big mass production, the quality is significantly important and there is no expansive and massive print equipment.
